2017 Boston, MA

Updated: Jul 1

Our inaugural conference began in 2017 at Northeastern in Boston, MA. Scientists, community advocates, government officials, state legislators, journalists, environmental advocates, lawyers, and students convened to share their experiences addressing PFAS contamination throughout the country. The conference had nearly 180 attendees representing groups and organizations such as the U.S. EPA, CDC's ATSDR, Keep Your Promises DuPont, Green Science Policy Institute, and the NIEHS, as well as many community members from PFAS contamination areas across the country.

The National PFAS Contamination Coalition officially formed during this conference and has become a major contributor to this conference series.
